After we survey the property, and measure the windows and doors to be protected, we carefully examine the local code requirements. Each has a requirement for wind load. Using this, we calculate the wind pressures generated at various points of the building by the code-specified wind loads. Then, we take the customer's special needs into consideration. Finally, we make a series of recommendations...options for the customer to consider, each priced fairly and completely.

Extended Maintenance Service

Like any mechanical system, roll-up and other shutters need periodic maintenance to keep them in the best working order possible especially in our corrosive coastal environment. Sand, salt, and dirt occasionally build up, and impair the function of even the best-made shutters.

That's why we offer a comprehensive maintenance service for roll-up shutters. Point by point, we painstakingly clean each component, and test the system to insure its proper functioning. By participating in an annual maintenance service, the roll-up shutter owner also extends the warranty of the shutter motor for an additional year.

All of installed products carry a limited warranty of 10 years - backed by our good name and reputation, as well as the good names of our quality suppliers.

Whenever possible, the planning of new projects should include storm protection needs for the building...before construction begins.
